★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 三本松城主吉見氏が祇園社の分霊を太鼓谷山に勧請したのが初めとされる。主祭神は須佐之男命。毎年7月20日・27日には、古典芸能神事である鷺舞が舞われる。「津和野弥栄神社の鷺舞」として国の重要無形民俗文化財に指定されている。保存状態はそこまで良いわけではないが、観光名所らしい落ち着いた佇まい。境内には津和野町の指定文化財でもある弥栄神社の大欅（けやき）が植えられており、近隣には黒い稲荷寿司がウリの「美松食堂」や太皷谷稲成神社へと続く表参道の石段がある。

Every year on July 20th and 27th, the traditional performing arts samurai dance is performed. It is designated as an important intangible folk cultural asset of the country as “Tsubano Yasaka Shrine Dance”. The state of preservation is not so good, but it has a calm appearance like a tourist attraction. The precincts are planted with Yae Shrine, a designated cultural asset of Tsuwano Town, and in the vicinity of Omotesando, black Inari sushi leads to Uri's “Mimatsu Shokudo” and Dazai Valley Inari Shrine There are stone steps.

御朱印はされているようですが常駐ではないようで連絡が必要かもしれません
境内からの紅葉が素晴らしかったです
ご神木も迫力ありました

そんなに綺麗に手入れされているようではありませんが、しっかりとした趣がありますね
