水尻滝へと続く水尻沢の枝沢にかかる滝。
水尻滝と同様に、既に山道は荒れ果て、今はその痕跡も確認できない為、辿り着くには沢の遡行が必要であり、北秋田市に存在する秘境の地となりつつある滝の一つ。
水尻沢に架かる橋周辺にあるはずの山道入り口を探すが、辺りは深い藪に覆われ、痕跡すら確認する事ができない為、仕方なく橋のたもとから入渓する。
沢は浅く、膝下程度の深さの水の流れを幾つもの段差を乗り越えながら遡行を続けると、明神滝へと通じる枝沢の出合いに到達する。
そこから右側から流れ込む枝沢に入ると、傾斜は一気に増し、乗り越える岩の大きさも増してくる。
息が荒くなりつつも更に遡行を続けると、少しして木々の合間から巨大な人の顔を思わせる姿をした滝が出現する。
そしてその一段下の簾状の滝直下へと歩みを進め、そこから滝を見上げると…最上部からの流れが勢い余って人面の額から空中へと吹き出し、その飛沫が朝日を背負って黄金色に輝きながら空中を舞っている情景は、正に明神の名に相応しく神々しい。
県内でも希に見る個性的な滝であり、一見の価値あり。

I look for the entrance to the mountain road that should be in the vicinity of the bridge over Mizujirizawa, but the area is covered with deep reeds and I can't even see the traces.
Sawa is shallow, and if you keep going backwards over the water flow that is about the depth of your knees, you will reach Edazawa's encounter leading to Myojin Falls.
If you enter Edazawa, which flows from the right side, the slope will increase at once, and the size of the rock you will climb will also increase.
If you continue going backwards even though your breath is getting rough, you will see a waterfall that looks like a huge human face between the trees.
Then walk forward to the bottom of the bowl-shaped waterfall and look up the waterfall from there ... The flow from the top surpasses and blows out from the forehead to the air, the splashes carry the Asahi on the back The scene of dancing in the air while shining in color is truly godly and worthy of the name of Myojin.
It is a unique waterfall that is rarely seen in the prefecture and is worth seeing.
