After the war, a shrine dedicated to the spirits of naval aviation martyrs was moved from the Kasumigaura Navy Air Corps to the precincts. By the way, the Tsukuba Navy Air Corps (currently the Ground Self-Defense Force Weapons School) also has the Tsukuba Air Corps Shrine, and the shrine and Otorii have been relocated to a private house or Kashima Shrine in Kojirahazama, Tsukuba City by volunteers. The Kasumigaura Shrine was built by the efforts of the members, but due to the fact that the shrine was significantly damaged by the time the sovereignty was restored, problems such as maintenance were emphasized and it was not rebuilt. In December 1955, former Navy officials erected a memorial tower for the former Navy Air Martyrs, and recorded a memorial service at the base of the tower. However, after that, the memorial tower was also abolished, and in May 1972, the spiritual list was moved away from the coast of Kasumigaura to the Togo Shrine Uminomiya Uminomiya. For this reason, the former Kasumigaura Shrine in the precincts of the current Ami Shrine has been abolished although the shrine has been preserved.
