「寛政9年（1797年）若栗村住人が讃岐金毘羅様から勧請し野面に祭祀した。明治12年頃鈴木安武が祭祀し直し、以後村の守神として祭っていいる。鳥居の蛇は八坪池の埋立で驚いて飛出した蛇と言い伝えられている。開基碑は安武の没後、その開拓の功績を顕彰し建立したもので、彼の経歴と開拓の心魂労苦を刻し、鈴木村創立の由来を後世に伝えんとした内容となっている。明治期この地の開拓史を知る上で貴重な碑文である。（阿見町教育委員会）」

Around 12th year of the Meiji era, Yasutake Suzuki re-educated it and has since been enshrined as the guardian deity of the village. It is said to be a serpent that jumped out from the landfill of the city. It is a content that was passed down to future generations. It is a valuable inscription to know the history of pioneering the area during the Meiji period (Ami Town Board of Education). "
