★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 消防博物館のイベントに参加するため、新宿へ行った際に立ち寄った神社。
場所は、消防博物館の隣にあり、火防守護の神さまがいる神社とのこと。
子供と一緒にお参りさせて頂きました。
ビルとビルの間の凄く狭い場所にあり凄く穴場的な場所です。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 今日も無事でありますように。ビルの谷間でも神社はありがたい場所です。火事除けの神様ですが綺麗に手入れされていました。

小社ですが社殿が色鮮やかでした。また脇に神仏習合の名残りか、江戸時代の石仏(舟形の個人墓)が残されています。

The stone torii gate stands as if it symbolises the god’s adamantine will for fire safety. The hydrangeas at the front are now in full bloom.
Intriguingly, the domain is located just next to the Yotsuya Fire Station Shinjukugyoen Branch, which is probably the best combination of a fire brigade and the deity of fire protection.
