The place has a very high ceiling and you get a sense of bigger space in an already big restaurant. I sometimes wonder if this place used to be a banquet hall before. They utilize the space for dance performances usually on Thursdays/Fridays alternating between Bollywood dance and belly dance. Depending on the mood, the dancers sometimes also invite guests to dance with them. The food options are your regular 'Indian' food menu in Japan but unfortunately they do not serve Roti (Chapati) bread yet in their meals. 7-9 minutes walk from Tachikawa station.

Additionally, there is no variety in the menu. The waiters are unwilling to mix and match combination plates. Lastly, the pricing makes the experience no worth it in the slightest. There are better options in tachikawa. Dont waste your time and money.

I don't know what is it about them but every time I show an apartment to an Indian I just crave Indian food right after, so this day I decided to have lunch at Mayur in Tachikawa. Selling Point: ● perhaps the nicest indian restaurant in Tokyo ● mutton curry was really good and so was the nan ● friendly service by friendly people
