★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 建物外壁に銅板が貼られている。その数、何と！22,500枚だそうです。その銅板の総重量は42トンなんだそうです。
四国三大祭りの一つが、ここ新居浜市が舞台の「新居浜太鼓祭り」ですが、その祭りで実際に担がれる大きな太鼓台が展示されています。
３トン程とかなり重たいので150人程で担ぐそうです。この祭りは元々は秋の豊作に感謝するためのものだそうです。市内をねり歩く太鼓台は全部で54です。この祭りの様子もモニターで流されていて楽しめます。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 新居浜駅近くなので場所はわかりやすいです。駐車場も有料と、離れたところに無料かあります。カフェあり、館内も展示物がありました。入館は無料ですが展示により有料のようです。新居浜ならでわの太鼓台の展示がされています。
 The location is easy to understand because it is near Niihama station. There is a charge for parking and free parking at a distance. There was a cafe and there were exhibits in the hall. Admission is free, but it seems that there is a charge depending on the exhibition. There is an exhibition of drums that are unique to Niihama.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ マンホールカードを収集で来ましたがカードが品切れですと言われた。残念です。いちいち有るか電話などで確認しないのが悪いのか
無くなる前に早めの対応をしてほしい。遠い所から来るものにしたら腹がたちます。
駐車場代は取られ無かった。
