h	hinnerk A. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 高台に位置する駅。柳津虚空蔵尊の参拝駅だけあって、駅舎内の改札と駅舎を通らない団体客用の改札跡が残っています。現在は無人駅となっていますが、駅を利用する乗客や駅を待ち合わせにする方が見られ、駅としての存在感が感じられます。駅横にはSLの展示もあります。 A station located on a hill. 中	中小路朋明 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ その可愛らしさから一躍人気者になった会津発祥の赤べこここ柳津が発祥の地と知りいてもたってもいられなくなり休日に日帰りで一路会津へ赤べこは柳津にある円蔵時が発祥の地になります。円蔵時ですが創建1200年を超える由緒あるお寺です。円蔵時に向かう途中に目に入った駅に設置されていた可愛らしい赤べこのオブジェに惹かれちょっと寄り道 JR只見線の会津柳津駅駅前も閑散としているTheローカル線の駅ですがとにかく赤べこ推しが凄い。駅前の郵便ポストの上、駅前の町内案内の看板、駅舎内などなど ※柳津町内のポストは独自仕様でポスト上部にミニサイズの赤べこがちょこんと乗っているのがお茶目小さな無人駅ですが赤べこと年季の入った年代物の駅舎を見ているだけでも心が満たされていくのがわかります。駅周りには「赤べこのふるさと」「赤べこ発祥の地」との表記が多く掲示されています。町側も赤べこ推しにかなり力を入れているようです。 ※後で通り過ぎた町役場にも赤べこの置物がありましたちなみに駅舎は東北の駅百選にも選出されています。全国の駅百選に選出されてもいいのではないかと個人的に思ってみたり Akabeko originated in Aizu, which became popular because of its cuteness. Around the station "Akabeko's hometown" "Akabeko's birthplace" Many notations are posted. It seems that the town side is also putting a lot of effort into pushing red beko. * There was also a red beetle figurine at the town hall that passed by later. By the way, the station building has been selected as one of the 100 best stations in Tohoku. I personally think that it may be selected as one of the 100 best stations in Japan.
