御朱印を頂きたかったけど、平日のみとの事。残念。
たまたま13日にきたので、霊宝殿の中を見ることが出来ました。
丑寅まつりが来年末までやっているので、次は平日行けたらと思います。
I visited because the autumn leaves were in full bloom.
I wanted to get a red stamp, but only on weekdays. disappointing.
I happened to be on the 13th, so I was able to see the inside of the Reihoden.
The Tora Festival will be held until the end of next year, so I hope I can go there next weekday.

まぁタダで見られるなら通り道だし寄ってみるか？？ぐらいのノリで訪問。
いやーそこからの景色は素晴らしかった❗️❗️また、寺の本堂も作り、彫り物をよく見ると、すんごい細かくて繊細なの。あとから「善光寺」も行ってみたけど、それをもまったく上回るものでした。
ただ露骨に本堂で物売りはどうかな？と(^_^;)

No, the view from there was wonderful ❗️❗️ Also, when I made the main hall of the temple and looked closely at the carvings, it was very fine and delicate. I also went to "Zenkoji" later, but it was even better than that.
But how about selling things in the main hall blatantly? And (^ _ ^;)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2022/2/6 国道252号線を何度か走ってていつか寄ってみたい場所だったので写真を撮ってみました。
緑の木々、紅葉も綺麗な所のようで雪景色も良きでした。特に夜撮った夜景は圧巻でした。この日は雪が降りすぎて時間の都合上上まで登って行かなかったのですが今度ゆっくり時間がある時にまた遊びに行きたいと思います。
冬シーズンに近くを散策する時は、道路から溶雪の為の水がチョロチョロと放水されているので濡れても大丈夫なスノーシューズのような防水靴等あるといいですよ。
2022/2/6 I ran on Route 252 several times and wanted to stop by, so I took a picture.
The green trees and autumn leaves seemed to be beautiful, and the snowy landscape was also good. Especially the night view taken at night was a masterpiece. It snowed too much on this day and I didn't climb up to the top due to time constraints, but I would like to go play again when I have time slowly.
When walking around in the winter season, it is good to have waterproof shoes such as snow shoes that can be used even if they get wet because the water for melting snow is discharged from the road.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A smallish temple with a nice view onto the river and surrounding mountains. It's quiet, all free to enter, and generally feels very authentic and real.
Inside the temple proper, photography is not allowed. This is normal for a real and functioning temple. Outside it's allowed.
The place it fairly easy to reach by train, as a train station is within spitting distance. There also several free parking lots around. Further down the main road are two gift shops annex eateries, and while the gifts seem to be just generic Aizu-themed gifts, they might still be worth checking out, now that you're there anyway.
