沼	沼どっぷり on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 今回ここの平湯は初めての訪問です。日曜から月曜にかけてのキャンプでしたので3割程？の埋まり具合で良かったです。週末や祝前日等はほぼ予約で満員なので空いている平日オススメです。心配な点は、自分の張るテントのスペースと相談しながらの場所取りになります。満員だと制約もありシビアと感じます。昨今のキャンプブームで週末キャンプはかなり難しいかもしれません。場所によっては傾斜がある箇所や狭いスペースの所もあります。フリーサイトなので週末行くなら朝イチがオススメです。最後に、お風呂は平湯温泉最高です。歩くと距離ありますが、それも醍醐味です。。。 This is my first visit to Hirayu here. と	とーふや on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 秋頃フリーサイトにて、キャンプをしました。景色も良く、平湯温泉までのアクセスも良く、自然豊かでキャンプを存分に楽しめるキャンプ場だと思います。ただ、フリーサイトはとても広く、夜は道に迷いますので、気を付けて下さい。実際私も2度迷いました。加えて、多くの方がたき火やバーベキューをしていたので、炭の匂いには気を付けた方が良いです。髪の毛についた炭の匂いは1週間かけて、やっとなくなりました。服の匂いは1ヶ月経った今でも消えません。お気に入りの服ではなく、汚れても良い服で来ることを強く推奨します。 I camp at a free site around autumn. The scenery is good, the access to Hirayu Onsen is good, and I think it is a campsite where you can fully enjoy camping with abundant nature. However, please be careful as the free site is very large and you get lost at night. In fact, I got lost twice. In addition, many people were bonfires and barbecues, so you should be careful about the smell of charcoal. The smell of charcoal on my hair finally disappeared over the course of a week. The smell of clothes hasn't disappeared even after a month. We strongly recommend that you wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty, not your favorite clothes.

D	David Chiang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A perfect base to explore the Japanese Alps. This is an alpine campground tucked in a dense woodland, which means you can get away from the summer heat. Basic amenities and groceries supply are serviced through the nearby onsen town.
J	JY C on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed for 2 nights in Hirayu Campsite during my cycling trip in Japan. Made day trip to Norikura from the campsite. Nice campsite with clean toilets, bought the discounted onsen voucher from the campsite office, walk about 200m to enjoy the onsen nearby.
K	Kevin Allen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bungalow/ cabin rentals... Not tent camping. Bathrooms very clean. Nice location close to the hot springs. BBQ grills were less than ideal... bring your own if you have one. They rent blankets, but not sleeping bags.
H	Hiking Gifu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect base to camp while visiting this area! The sites are taken by a first-come system, so arrive early (opens 8am) to get a campsite that suits you. There are basic needs available at the front desk office (ice, fire wood etc) but if you need groceries then a 15min drive to the nearest supermarket is necessary. The toilets are clean with the usual assortment of bugs that a light in the forest would attract, and the roads are well maintained. Burnable rubbish and recyclables can be dumped next to to entry boomgates.
