★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Didn't know how to appreciate the limestone cave and artifacts. And the hike through the cave is definitely not suitable for kids.
The cave is wet and cold in the winter, as slippery as it can get, be sure to wear right footings.
Low ceiling heights at parts of the cave at 1.5m, tall peeps get ready to hunch your backs.
The frozen ice ravine is what gets the ticket money back. But you need to complete the hike through the caves before reaching the ravine.
Self drive is the preferred mode of transport, route to location is pretty okay. Be prepared to spend 90mins or so at the location.

After visit the cave, we will see a weeded corridor, and the decoration is so nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutly amazing caves!! Incredible stone/pottery museum near. Nice garden!! Parking is near. At least 150m up inside cave rooms, make time to enjoy - app 90 min for caves. Its cold, but when you will go more up inside - its much warmer as room t.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fun commercialized limestone cave. ¥1100 admission. Recommended for couples / adult visitors; not really for kids. Inside can be somewhat wet so dress appropriately. I visited in September and it was 10℃ in the cave. The facility provides umbrellas on rainy days because it will drip inside from the rain. Expect to spend about 2 hours.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Included in the 1100 yen entrance fee you get access to a museum that display the collection of artwork of the person who discovered the cave and turned it into a tourist attraction. The cave itself was surprisingly deep, and we spent at least half an hour walking around in there. Temperature inside the cave is around 10 degrees, so you might want to bring a sweater.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was not that busy when we visited, so we had the place all to ourselves. We had a pleasant time exploring the cave, though the climb's a little bit hard for old folks. All in all, a good experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The cave itself wasn't very special in my opinion. A lot of bright purple LED lights, which makes it possible to see far into the cage, but also disturbs the natural darkness and 'mystery' of a cave. The view after you've exited the cage is great though, definitely worth the trouble of biking/walking up the hill.
