★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 祭神は倉稲魂命・天之御中主命。境内の説明版によれば，神護景雲3年(769)の創立で，鹿島・香取神社に比肩する最も古い歴史をもつ神社とあり，常陸大椽氏が府中城を築く時，本社を鬼門に建て守護神として祀ったとあります。明治3年の石岡大火で全焼したが，後に再建。
狭い路地沿いに鳥居があり，斜めに石畳の意外に長い参道が走り，その先，階段の上に社殿が鎮座していらっしゃいました。火災前は大きな社地があったのではないかと思われました。
The deity is Kurana Tamashii and Amano Gochu. According to the explanation version of the precincts, it is said to be the oldest shrine that was founded in Jingo Keiun 3 (769) and has the oldest history comparable to Kashima Katori Shrine. It is said that it was enshrined as a guardian deity built in Fuchu. It was completely destroyed by the Ishioka fire in 1897, but was later rebuilt.
There was a torii gate along a narrow alley, and a surprisingly long approach to the stone pavement ran diagonally, and after that, the shrine was enshrined on the stairs. It seemed that there was a large company site before the fire.
