御社殿近くの北参道の入口に建てられた鳥居です。高さ7メートル、幅8メートルの大きな鳥居で、推定樹齢300年の青森産のヒバの木で造られ、木造鳥居では宮城では最大…との事です。
こちらの参道にも、このような非常に立派な鳥居を建てて頂いた事には感激ですね。
This is the torii gate of Osaki Hachimangu Shrine.
It is a torii built at the entrance of the north approach near your shrine. It is a large torii gate with a height of 7 meters and a width of 8 meters. It is made of Hiba trees from Aomori, which is estimated to be 300 years old. It is the largest wooden torii gate in Miyagi.
I'm very impressed that you built such a magnificent torii gate on this approach.
