★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 加賀藩の支藩の大聖寺藩（十万石）の屋敷跡を長州の品川弥二郎が買い取り自邸にしていたが、明治22年（1889年）に実業家須藤吉左衛門に売却。昭和8年（1933年）に須藤家が公園用地として東京市に寄付したものだそうです。
 Yajiro Shinagawa of Choshu bought the site of the residence of the Daishoji clan (100,000 stones), a branch domain of the Kaga domain, and made it his own residence, but in 1889 he sold it to the businessman Yoshizaemon Sudo. It is said that the Sudo family donated it to Tokyo City as a park site in 1933.

敷地内に石垣がある。これが戦後に作られた擁壁なのか，元々あったものなのかは分からない。
四月中旬，東京都内の準絶滅危惧種であるニリンソウが咲いていた。
