★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 大内定綱家臣であったが1586年頃には伊達政宗家臣となった平石甲斐守武頼の居城。政宗の二本松城攻めの時には本陣を置いた。館址として整備されてはいないが阿武隈川を望む高台に土塁が残っている。
 The residence of Takeyori Hiraishi Kai, who was a vassal of Sadatsuna Ouchi but became a vassal of Date Masamune around 1586. When Masamune attacked Nihonmatsu Castle, he set up his headquarters. Although it is not maintained as a building site, there are still earthworks on the hill overlooking the Abukuma River.
