K	Kris on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful buildings and architecture! The entrance fee is only ¥400 per adult. I definitely recommend a visit here as they have such a wide variety of architecture from around Japan. The history is fascinating as well and many of the guides speak good English. They will tell you all about the homes or old business buildings and history behind them. Some also have a few artifacts and furniture as well. You will park at the adjacent park and walk through the park to the museum. They also have a section dedicated to artifacts as well inside the main hall.

Some of the stuff can speak a little English and they try to explain the buildings with great enthusiasm. You can go inside almost every room, the garden around is very pretty as well. The entrance fee is absolutely worth it.

The current exposition is on Japanese bath houses but that is only a small part of one building. Go early and enjoy the park that the museum is located in. It’s a beautiful and big park - highly recommend!

Very picturesque places, you can feel almost like brought back in time, or like on a movie set. Nice descriptions of buildings in English too. Not very crowded when visited in late afternoon Nov 2020.

I visited the Edo Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum and thought about this while touring the many buildings covering the late Edo to the early Showa eras. It’s a wonderful museum and the admission costs only ¥400 for adults.
