Takehanajo is a Japanese castle (Hirajo) located in Haguri-gun, Owari Province, later Haguri-gun, Mino Province, and now Takehana-cho, Hashima City, Gifu Prefecture. In 1586 (Tensho 14), the flow path moved south due to the flooding of the Kiso River, and the country moved from Owari to Mino. It is believed that the flow path before that flowed along the current Sakai River and merged with the Nagara River near Sunomata. It is sometimes referred to as Takehana Castle, and was designated as a historic site in Hashima City in 1955 (Showa 30) as the site of Takehana Castle. The exact location has not been identified, but it is said that there was a main enclosure in the Marunouchi area. It had a double moat with Sakagawa as the outer moat. Initially, there was a castle monument near the crossing of the city road and the Takenashi line, but now it is estimated that the castle ruins are near Kamishiro-cho and Shimojo-cho, and the castle monument was moved in front of the History and Folklore Museum. In addition, during the construction of the city road on the north side, a stone wall of Kawaraishi was excavated from the basement. There is a high possibility that the remains of Takenashi Castle are located. The castle is said to have been built by Naotaka Takekoshi during the Ojin period (1467-1469). After that, Mr. Nagai who served Mr. Toki and Mr. Saito joined, and it is thought that the control was transferred to Mr. Oda. In 1584 (Tensho 12), during the battle between Komaki and Nagakute, which was under the control of Nobukatsu Oda, during the battle of Komaki and Nagakute, Hideyoshi Toyotomi was attacked by water and the castle fell (Takegana Castle). Mr. Fuwa fell, and Naoto Ichiyanagi, who was under Hideyoshi, entered the castle. When the end of the castle becomes the owner of Ogaki Castle, Tadashi Iki, who is under the control of Tsuneoki Ikeda, and then Seiemon Moriji will enter the castle. Later, Mr. Fuwa returned to this area and lived in Fuwaishiki Village. Next, Shigekatsu Sugiura under Hidenobu Oda was besieged by Masanori Fukushima as a prelude to the Battle of Sekigahara on August 22, 1600 (September 29, 1600) during the time of the castle owner, and was packed in Ninomaru and Sannomaru. Hiromori Mouri and others of the reinforcements surrendered to Fukushima, which they knew, and the castle fell and Sugiura harmed himself (Battle of Sekigahara Castle). Later, Takegana Castle will be abandoned. The site is now a shopping district and a museum of history and folklore in Hashima City.

There are no archeological remains, but it's a good idea to walk while imagining that a water attack took place here ...

The location is not clear, but there is a monument and an explanatory sign in the corner of the movie museum, and it is in good condition. The famous castle site where Hideyoshi was attacked by water.

The museum is probably not a restoration of a castle, but a movie museum of the mid-Showa period. I didn't enter because I felt like I looked through the entrance for a fee.

A castle that appears in historical materials during the battles of Komaki, Nagakute and Sekigahara. The ruins of the castle are in the city and no remains are found.

There was nothing but a stone monument and a sign. The location seems uncertain, so I'm a little lonely. I went to the battle of Sekigahara and the outpost battle, but it's a shame to go all the way. It's impossible to make it a tourist destination without a little more.

There is a stone monument and information board in front of the Hashima City Museum of History and Folklore. It's a pity that the location is not clear because there are no documents left, even though the castle is related to the battle of Komaki and Nagakute and the battle of Sekigahara. It is said that this area where the museum is located on the information board seems to be the remains of the main enclosure, but it seems that the castle fell due to a water attack during the battle between Komaki and Nagakute, but I would like to know the detailed story at that time. At the Hashima City Museum of History and Folklore, there was an explanation about Shigekatsu Sugiura, who was the owner of Takenashi Castle at the time of the Battle of Sekigahara. According to it, Shigekatsu was a powerful man who freely manipulated a large spear. In the battle of Takenashi Castle, which is the outpost of the Battle of Sekigahara, he fought against the eastern army, which was attacking to the end, and committed suicide. Such a clear file of Sugiura Shigekatsu is on sale at the nearby "Gurutto Hashima". It's good to praise the local hero who fought to the end, even if he lost.

Visiting historical sites related to "Battle of Komaki and Nagakute" ? ・ April 1584 ... Battle of Komaki and Ieyasu Victory ・ May 1584 ... The first battle of Takegana Castle is missed, and "Battle of Shinobi Castle, famous for Nobo Castle" by Mr. Gohojo / Siege of Odawara will be included. , Ishida Mitsunari, Otani Yoshitsugu, Natsuka Masaie and others were the main players, so they are out of the Hideyoshi frame ? (2) The second battle of Takegana ... The outpost of the Battle of Sekigahara, the warlord / Masanori Fukushima attacked the castle, and the castle general / Shigekatsu Sugiura resisted with the main circle until the end, but he lit the castle in front of the large army and loyalty. Warlords! ️ Actually, the exact position of the castle is not known and it is unclear, and it is estimated that it is around here because there is "Castle Jizo Daibosatsu" diagonally in front.
