 I really want to be careful when drinking too much. I think so every time I visit this Sake Jizoson. Please help us eliminate the illness and disaster caused by alcohol. ?

説明板には・・・
「むかし、四谷伝馬町に住む中村瀬平という者は、故あって成長の後に家を出て幡ケ谷村の農家に雇われて農作業や子守りなど一生懸命に働いたといわれています。
瀬平の勤勉さに感心した村人は、三十一才になった正月に彼を招いてご馳走したところ、ふだんは飲まない酒によった瀬平は川に落ちて水死しました。
瀬平は村人の夢まくらに現れて、この村から酒呑を無くすために地蔵を造ってほしいと願ったので、村人たちは早速一基の地蔵を建立し、酒呑地蔵として伝えて来ました。」

Sepira appeared on the villagers' dream pillow, and hoped that he would build a Jizo to remove the sake from this village, so the villagers immediately erected a Jizo and told him as a sake brewery . "
