In May 1918, just before the Great Kanto Earthquake, Yasujiro Tsutsumi, known as the founder of the Seibu Group, acquired the residence of Hisato Nakagawa in Shibuya and its site. At that time, it was this Inari that was the Nakagawake's residence.
