In November 1940, the "Memorial to the Emperor Jimmu of 2600" was held as a business of the Celebration of Emperor Jimmu in order to honor the sacrament of Emperor Jinmu's eastern expedition. "Namba no Aoi Memorial Monument" is dedicated.

桜もいいですが、梅の花もきれいですね。
In front of this monument, red and white plums were in full bloom.
Cherry blossoms are nice, but plum blossoms are also beautiful.
