★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 三神峯遺跡は，市の南部にあり，JR長町駅の西約2.5㎞の三神峯公園内に位置する。青葉山から東に張り出した標高約68mのなだらかな台地上に立地しており，面積は約102,400㎡である。これまで公園整備等に伴い6次の調査が実施され，縄文時代前期初頭に位置づけられる7軒の竪穴住居跡が検出されている。古くから知られている遺跡であり，昭和3年(1928)に東京大学から発行された『石器時代遺物発見地名表』に掲載されている他，昭和25年の『仙台市史3別編1』で縄文時代前期から中期の土器が出土していることなどが記されている。
 The Mikamine Ruins are located in the southern part of the city, in Mikamine Park, about 2.5 km west of JR Nagamachi Station. It is located on a gentle plateau at an altitude of about 68 m, which overhangs east of Mt. Aoba, and has an area of about 102,400 m2. So far, the sixth survey has been carried out along with the park development, and the remains of seven pit dwellings located at the beginning of the early Jomon period have been detected. It is an archaeological site that has been known for a long time, and it is listed in the "Stone Age Relic Discovery Place Name Table" published by the University of Tokyo in 1928, and in 1950, "Sendai City History 3 Supplement 1". 』It is written that pottery from the early to middle Jomon period was excavated.
