タワーマンションも建つ…。
それに引き換え、ここ、狭山ヶ丘駅はちょっと陰に隠れた駅ですが、ずっと昔からあります。
以前は西口のみでありました☺️
小生、40年ほど前に狭山ヶ丘にあった武蔵野音楽大学附属幼稚園にバスで通っておりました。
よって、この駅には非常に思い入れが強いのです☺️
国立病院もあります。
また、こちらの駅から1kmほど南方にあります所沢西郵便局は、以前は24時間営業してくれてましたので重宝しました。
今でも、大勢の配達員や多くのATMを抱えた大きい局です。
狭山ヶ丘西口には前述の通り交番があり、国道463の先まで商店街が続きます。
そして、その先には所沢商業高校…。
1990年台に東口ができてから、東狭山ヶ丘地域は開発されました。
今じゃ、東口ロータリーにファミリーマートや整形外科、餃子やさんなどが並びます☺️
ところざわ自動車学校もございます。
宮寺など、瑞穂町との境の地域まで、最寄り駅はこちらになりますので、重要な駅です。
もう少し、旧商店街が再発展することを望みます。

In exchange, Sayamagaoka station is a little hidden station, but it has been around for a long time.
Previously it was only the west exit ☺️
I used to go to the kindergarten attached to Musashino Academia Musicae in Sayamagaoka about 40 years ago by bus.
Therefore, I have a strong feeling for this station ☺️
There is also a national hospital.
Also, the Tokorozawa Nishi Post Office, which is about 1km south of this station, was useful because it used to be open 24 hours a day.
It is still a large station with a large number of delivery staff and many ATMs.
As mentioned above, there is a police box at the west exit of Sayamagaoka, and the shopping street continues to the end of National Highway 463.
And beyond that, Tokorozawa Commercial High School ...
The Higashisayamagaoka area has been developed since the east exit was opened in the 1990s.
Now, FamilyMart, orthopedics, dumplings, etc. are lined up at the east exit rotary ☺️
There is also Tokorozawa Driving School.
The nearest station to the area bordering Mizuho Town, such as Miyaji, is here, so it is an important station.
I hope that the old shopping district will be redeveloped a little more.
