This is a Jizo-san I saw during a walk around Zenpukuji Temple. I thought it was a well-maintained Jizo that was valued by locals.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 善福寺という地区にあるお寺・善福寺の敷地内にある小ぢんまりとした御堂に石仏が二体、祀られています。
善福寺の敷地内ではありますが、外側に面して建てられており、善福寺を背にし、歩道脇にあります。
石仏があるだけで何かの説明が書いてある訳でもなく、詳細が分からないですが、お花が備えてあったりして、綺麗に管理されているような印象です。散歩中に何だろう？と足を止める方もいるのかなと思います。
余談ですが、お寺内には桜の木があるので、春はとても綺麗です。

As an aside, there are cherry blossom trees in the temple, so spring is very beautiful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 右側は、観音菩薩か勢至菩薩の立像で、元文五年（1740）十一月の造立。「奉造立廿三夜 浄本地 武刕多摩郡遅野井村 念佛講中 善福寺」と刻まれています。廿三夜とあるので、月待塔かもしれません。左側は将軍地蔵立像と言われています。造立年は延享二年（1745）九月、「奉造立愛宕大権現 武刕多摩郡遅野井村善福寺十二人 念佛講中 新甼十二人」と刻まれています。
私はまだ新町の町名が残っていた時代に、この町で生まれました。
On the right is a statue of the Kannon Bodhisattva or Mahasthamaprapta, built in November 1740. It is inscribed as "Zenfukuji Temple during the memorial service in Osonoi-mura, Tama-gun, Tama-gun, Jyohonchi." It may be a moon-waiting tower because it is called "Sanya". The left side is said to be the statue of Shogun Jizo. The year of construction is engraved in September of the 2nd year of Enkyo (1745), "Twelve new priests during the memorial service for 12 people at Zenfukuji Temple, Osonoi-mura, Tama-gun, Tama-gun."
I was born in this town when the name of the new town still remained.
