I commute to work on the Chiyoda line, but I just pass by every day. When I used it while traveling to Ueno, I found that it was a convenient station near Yushima, Kanda, and Ueno.

非常に縦長の駅なので、電車に乗る位置を、前か後ろ、しっかり確認したほうがいいです。
Yushima Tenjin is the closest. You can walk to Kanda Myojin in 6 or 7 minutes.
It's a very vertically long station, so you should check the position to get on the train, front or back.

Two steep flights of steps to get to the ticket hall, then, thankfully, an elevator. Keep to the right on the stairs, keep to the left on the escalator. Welcome to Japan.
It is just a basic subway station. If you can manage the journey down the stairs, you are on the train.
