You can learn Japanese traditional crafts. A workshop that makes you feel the goodness of handmade such as weaving and indigo dyeing. It seemed that you could also experience coasters and table centers.

By diving, I did an experience course. I was very happy to make two coasters. It seems that there is also an indigo dyeing experience (reservation required) at the time.

You can experience dyeing and weaving. We will teach you properly, so even those who want to study dyeing and weaving are highly satisfied!

You can have a simple experience without making a reservation, or you can woven your own belt for several days. When weaving the belt, it takes a form of occupying the weaving machine for one month, and during that time, you can come as many times as you want, and you can weave the belt in two days at the earliest. There is also a sales space inside the store, and products made here are also sold.

This time we woven a coaster (2 pieces) that can be challenged relatively easily even for the first time. Different warps are set on the looms. These are all wonderful, and the time to worry is also fun! Once the warp (Tateito) has been decided, select the preferred weft (Yokoto) according to it. In fact, it is not an exaggeration to say that we spent the most time selecting wefts rather than weaving (laughs), but there are samples, but we can hardly imagine the finish! In such a case, if you select the color used in the warp (Tateito), it seems that it will come out well. I safely chose the blue stripe. When I chose gray with the image of jeans, my teacher told me that it was "rare", so I chose the same kind of weft for the second sheet. Step on the pedals and interweave the weft (yokoto) passed through the shuttle while swapping the top and bottom of the warp (tateito). It's a simple task so it's easy to get used to! Completed while humming Miyuki Nakajima's "thread" in my heart! It was a very enjoyable experience with individuality. Next time I would like to try big ones (shawls and table runners).
