★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 六月中旬から七月初旬にかけて紫陽花(アジサイ)がお寺を包み込みます。
お寺は、「湯元 湯華の郷(ゆげのさと)」の裏手の山側にあたります。
近年紫陽花の花が少なくなっていますが、どうも手入れを9月になってからやっていることが原因の様です。
花が終わった頃に手入れするのが一番良いのですが、手入れされていた方々が高齢となり、暑さに耐えれないとのこと。
こんな場所にも高齢化の波ということかな？
でも事故があってはいけないので、無理のないところでと願うばかり。
このお寺が運営する「湯元 湯華の郷(ゆげのさと)」も有名。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 紫陽花が咲くお寺、ということで行ってみました。駐車場の斜面にたくさん咲いている画像があったので期待してましたが、時期が早かったのか、遅かったのかは分かりませんが、そこには咲いていませんでした。境内や、その周りには青や白、赤の紫陽花がたくさん咲いており、目を楽しませてくれます。急斜面にあるお寺で、道も狭く、車で行かれる方は注意したほうがいいです。お寺のすぐ下には温泉があります。
I went to the temple where hydrangea blooms. We expected because there were many images blooming on the slope of the parking lot, but I did not know if it was early or late, but it did not bloom there. A lot of blue and white, red hydrangea blooms in the grounds and around it, and it delights eyes. It is a temple on a steep slope, the road is narrow, and it is better to be careful if you are going by car. There is a hot spring just below the temple.

駐車場もあります。
景色も素晴らしく、静かで、きれいでいいところでした。
温泉に立ち寄る際にはこちらも来てみてもいいですね。
人も少なく雰囲気もよく季節によって花も綺麗です。
歩くには坂が急ですが、一般的なお車なら問題ないかと思います。
本当に遠くの山々や街並みがすごく綺麗でした。
また来ます。

数や種類は少ないですが、周辺道路沿いにも植えてあるので散策するのも良いかもしれません。
御朱印は本堂内に書置のものがありました。

花の数はさほど多い訳ではありません。
但し、その分手入れは行き届いている印象です。
どちらにしても、ここまで有名になったのは最近でしょうか。
ちなみに、
最近 手水舎で花が飾られることを聞く様になりましたが、弓削寺では"ガクアジサイが用意されました。
これは珍しい！
ということで、そこまで広くは無いので、散歩のつもりで訪れるのが良い場所ですね。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 急峻な場所に建っている。平安時代最澄から１２００年続く由緒正しい寺。温泉の受付の女性に聞き訪問しました。駐車場の公衆便所がかなり傾き、大丈夫て感じ。門をくぐると正面にお堂、左側に庭園とコンパクトであるが、風情を感じさせる。今回は、花の季節に訪れていないため、わびさび感が強い。桜及び紫陽花の季節に訪れたい。
It is built in a steep place. A venerable temple that has continued for 1200 years since Saicho in the Heian period. I asked a woman at the reception of the hot spring and visited her. The public toilet in the parking lot is tilted considerably, and it feels okay. Passing through the gate, it is compact with a hall in front and a garden on the left, but it has a taste. This time, I haven't visited during the flower season, so I have a strong sense of wabi-sabi. I want to visit during the cherry blossom and hydrangea season.
