花手水がきれいで、境内の中を見て回るのがとても楽しい。寄贈されたものを丁寧に飾ってあるのも良い。
足の悪い人は参拝困難かも。

外から奥の院へ向かう途中の紅葉も美しく、高台にあるので、15時過ぎてもまだ太陽光が当たり綺麗です。

駐車場はいっぱいでしたが、徒歩5分程の場所に駐車場はあり、ガードマンが案内してくれます。
アジサイ祭りであった為、入るのに200円かかりますが、キレイなアジサイが見られます。
また、手水舎（手を洗う場所）には、アジサイの花もあり、フォトジェニックにはオススメです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 113代東山帝の妃・新崇賢門院が”無事出産できた暁には観音様をお祀りする”と誓いを立て祈願され、のちの114代中御門帝となる皇子を出産された。ところが、皇子九歳の折にご両親が崩御し、その追善菩提のために帝が想いを込めて楊谷寺本尊を模して彫られたのが奥之院の本尊で、厨子の中におさめられ、「中御門天皇 勅刻尊像」の額がかかっている。その左には二十八部衆が本尊をお守りしている形になっている。
建物は、1915年に一度焼失し、1930年再建されたもので、洛西観音霊場第10番札所。
21/06/05、本堂から回廊を通って、奥の院をお参りした。緑に囲まれた奥の院は、静かなたたずまいであった。

However, when the prince was nine years old, his parents died, and the emperor carved the image of the main idol of Yangtani Temple with all his thoughts for the bodhi of the prince. The amount of "Emperor Nakamikado's statue of Buddha" is applied. To the left is a form in which the 28 members are guarding the principal image.
The building was burnt down once in 1915 and rebuilt in 1930. It is the 10th temple of Rakusai Kannon Sacred Ground.
On 21/06/05, I visited Okunoin from the main hall through the corridor. The Okunoin, surrounded by greenery, had a quiet appearance.
