★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 金峯山寺蔵王堂へ向かう途中に在ります。奈良東大寺大仏建立で余った銅で造られたそうです。階段を登ると広い踊り場風の広場があり、休憩できる椅子も在ります。
It is on the way to Kinminezan-ji Zao-do. It is said that it was made of surplus copper for Nara Todaiji Daibutsu. When you climb the stairs, you will find a large landing-like open space and some chairs where you can take a break.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ４月の桜の季節に訪れました。黒門を過ぎ少し歩くと階段の上に立派な鳥居が見えます。奈良の大仏の銅の残りを使って作られたといわれています。ただ、南北朝期の騒乱で焼け落ち、現在の鳥居は室町時代に再建されたものです。この立派な鳥居をくぐると、改めて厳かな気持ちになります。
I visited during the cherry blossom season in April. A short walk past the Kuromon gate, you will see a magnificent torii on the stairs. It is said that it was made using the remains of the copper of the Great Buddha of Nara. However, it burned down due to the turmoil of the Northern and Southern dynasties, and the present Torii was rebuilt during the Muromachi period. Passing through this magnificent torii will make you feel strict again.
