★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 大沙川隊道の上に大杉弘法堂のたてものがあり、なかには、弘法大師の像が安置されてます。地元の人なんでしょうか、お花とか水と蝋燭立てなどあり拝がまれているようです。75０年前の木といわれ、周囲６メートル、高さ26メートルあります。前は二本杉があったそうですかま、洪水で一本は倒れたらので、今は一本がのこってます。旧東海道沿いにあり、空海が訪れて、食事の箸?を立てたら二本の杉が生えたとか、二本の杉を手植えしたとかいわれています。
