ナ	ナナイチカローラ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 昭和の風情たっぷりの景勝地です。日本の滝百選に選ばれてます。滝の下の駐車場と滝の真上の駐車場、２カ所あります。今回は滝の真上にある山の上の駐車場に車を停めましたが、道幅が恐ろしく狭く行きも帰りもすれ違いにヒヤヒヤしっぱなしでした。但し長い登り道を歩かなくて済みました。ヒヤヒヤかヒイヒイを選ぶかは好みの問題です。 It is a scenic spot with a lot of Showa era atmosphere. K	K Y on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 7月の平日お昼頃に訪れました。平日は駐車場無料だったような気がしたけどまったくそんな事はなく、300円です。広い駐車場には10台から20台くらいの車が停まっていましたが、養老の滝まで歩いて行かれる人がほとんどのようでした。我が家の目的は川遊びでしたが、平日ということもあってか、人っ子一人いません。山から見下ろす景色と山の緑を独り占めで、贅沢で爽快な気分を味わえました。雨の後だったので、水量は少し多めでしたが、水も綺麗で、小さい子供も安心して遊ばせられます。繁忙期の連休などは対岸の臨時駐車場が開放されますが、ここに至るまでの道と最後の信号でとんでもなく渋滞したりしますので、かなり早い時間か、逆に夕方に来るとある程度混雑を回避できます。 I visited around noon on weekdays in July.
