★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 養老三滝不動尊は、かつては七北田川の支流の八乙女川上流にあった滝に祀られていたという。昭和３９年に東北自動車道の建設に伴い、滝周辺が公示対象地になったため、不動尊も近隣の地＝現在の中山台団地の一角に遷され、さらに平成１９年に中山台団地の造成工事により、現在地に遷されたという。かつて滝があったと思われる現地を訪れると、現在では中山台団地第２号緑地公園の西側を走る東北自動車道の路線になっていてかつての面影は全くない。しかし、高速道路西側の、かつての滝の下流部一帯は現在も西中山団地南側に手つかずの渓流の姿を残していて、往時の面影を残している。
It is said that Yoro Mitaki Fudoson was once enshrined in a waterfall upstream of the Yaotome River, a tributary of the Nanakita River. Since the construction of the Tohoku Expressway in 1964, the area around the waterfall became a subject of public notice, Fudoson was also transferred to a nearby area = a corner of the current Nakayamadai housing complex. It is said that he was transferred to his current location. When I visited a place where there was a waterfall, it is now on the Tohoku Expressway, which runs on the west side of the Nakayamadai Danchi No.2 Green Park. However, on the west side of the highway, downstream of the former waterfall, there is still an untouched mountain stream on the south side of the Nishinakayama housing complex, leaving a remnant of the past.
