入り口の風化しかけているお地蔵様が、千と千尋の神隠しの千尋が神の国に迷い込む時の入り口のような雰囲気です。
もとは依遅ヶ尾山上に鎮座していたそうで、中世、氏子の転居に伴い現在地に移ったそうです。氏子が遠下の方だったんですね。
左右に植えてある杉の木はそのとき(1672年)に植樹されたらしいので、今から約450年前から続いていると聞くと、感慨深い。。
大切に守り継いでほしい神社のひとつです。
