この広場で評価するべき点は、何と言っても大量に設置しまくってあるベンチである！疲れて座りたいのに椅子が全てうまってて座れないなどという事が絶対に無いくらいにこれでもかという数のベンチが配置されている。
ちなみに今、薔薇園の植替え工事が行われているので近いうちフレッシュなバラが拝める事でしょう。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 毎年５月中旬の週末に、与野公園でばら祭りが行われている。そこまで行かずとも駅前広場に広がる薔薇の花壇が見事で、珍しい薄紫の薔薇が多く咲く。春と秋は満開になって優雅な香りも楽しめる。
Every weekend at the middle of May, the Rose Festival is held at Yono Park. Even if it does not go to there, the flower bed of the persimmon flower which spreads to the station square is superb, and a lot of rare light purple persimmons bloom. Spring and autumn are in full bloom and you can enjoy elegant scents.
