有休を取り、聴講しました。一般社会人と興譲館の高校生が聴講しました。学校や教育関係者、先生の前で「個性を生かし、やりたいことを目指して進め」と現在の教育方針と進学高校や大学の指導方法が否定されたことに聴講した高校生が不安を質問するなど面白く聴講しました。
日亜化学でのLED開発当時の話や有機EL研究する山大の城戸淳二教授との掛け合いを面白く聴きました。
その後、2014年にノーベル物理学賞を受賞しました。
