OBには古くは元大洋ホエールズ(現、横浜DeNAベイスターズ)の鈴木哲夫氏や、近年ではスキーフリースタイルモーグルの遠藤尚氏、ソチパラリンピック、チェアスキーの金メダリスト鈴木猛史氏がいます?
今はスキー部の強豪校として有名ですが、昭和40年代から50年代半ばまでは、野球部も会津地区上位校でした❗
平成4年夏の予選では、当時第2シードの聖光学院を破る波乱を巻き起こし話題にもなりました❗その年を含め、夏の県予選は過去幾度かベスト16まで進出しています❗
春や秋の地区大会でも会津地区代表として県大会まで何度も進出しています❗
近年は残念ながら少子化に伴い生徒数が半減し、野球部員が思うように集められず、「連合チーム」に加盟しています❗

It is now famous as a strong school for ski clubs, but from the 1940s until the mid-1950s, the baseball club was also a high school in the Aizu area❗.
In the summer 1992 qualifying, it became a hot topic due to the turmoil that broke the second seed Seigakuin at that time ❗ Including that year, the summer prefecture qualifying has advanced to the best 16 several times in the past ❗
As a representative of the Aizu district, we have made many advancements to prefectural conventions in spring and autumn district competitions as well ❗
Unfortunately, the number of students has halved in recent years due to the declining birthrate, and baseball teams have not been able to gather as expected, and they have joined the “Coalition Team” ❗
