★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 蓬田八幡宮は、橫内城趾に立てられています。この城跡は潮潟安藤氏の居館とされ、南部氏が安藤氏を青森県から駆逐する際に、滅ぼされています。駐車場から神社をみて、右手の道を行くと空堀を見ることができます。
Yokota Hachimangu Shrine is set up on the Unai Castle Toes. The ruins of this castle are said to be the residence of Ando Shiogata, and were destroyed when Mr. Nambu drove Ando from Aomori Prefecture. You can see the sky moat when you see the shrine from the parking lot and follow the road on your right.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 五年ほど前、この場所を通って袴腰へ登山したことがあります。そのときは国道からの神社がよく見えませんでした、伐採し調査でも来るのでしょう。停まっている車まで分かるようになりました。
About five years ago, I climbed Hakama through this place. At that time, I couldn't see the shrine from the national highway. You can now see even the cars that are parked.
