★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 旧郷社だけあって、拝殿に風格があります。鳥居の大しめなわが見応えがあります。境内に猿田彦大神の石碑があり、狛犬が二組。御祭神は、伊邪那岐命・いざなぎのみこと、速玉男命・はやたまおのみこと、事解之男命・ことさかのおみこと。草創は正安２年（1300）、元和３年（1617）再建。国道280号(旧道)で後潟地区に入って進むと道路左側に「後潟神社の社号標」があり、そこを左折する。進むと、道の左手に「後潟神社の林と鳥居」が見える。
 There is only the old town shrine, and the hall of worship has a personality. The large torii gate is spectacular. There is a stone monument of Sarutahiko Ogami in the precincts, and there are two pairs of guardian dogs. The deities are Izanagi Mikoto, Izanagi Mikoto, Hayatama Otoko Mikoto, and Kumano Gongen Mikoto. The plant was rebuilt in Shoan 2 (1300) and Genna 3 (1617). When you enter the Ushirogata area on National Road 280 (old road), you will see the "Ushirogata Shrine company name" on the left side of the road, and turn left. As you proceed, you will see "Ushirogata Shrine Forest and Torii" on the left side of the road.
