★ ★ ★ ★ ★ (横枕神社)は集落の道沿いに堅固な石垣が組まれ、その上に外壁が張り巡らされた豪胆な構えです。
祭神は牛頭大王、敷地内は朝日寺と共存、鳥居を潜ると御神木のスギの大木が真っ直ぐに上空に伸び上がり、付近の地物や風土を眼下にしています。
御神木は猪子川に沿いながら走る県道からも、高架上の自動車道からもはっきりと目に写ります。
(横枕神社)境内には遠い古(いにしえ)からの原風景を感じました。
境内はコンパクトながら鳥居、手摺の付いた石段、拝殿、本殿等々か配置です。
(神主さんのお住まいエリアもお隣りかな？)
帰路は猪子集落方向から入りました。やはり境内の御神木の凛然たる姿には感動です。
(Yokomakura Shrine) is a bold stance with a solid stone wall built along the road of the village and an outer wall stretched over it.
The deity is Gozu Tenno, the site coexists with Asahi-ji Temple, and when you dive into the torii gate, a large Sugi tree of the shinboku grows straight up in the sky, and you can see the nearby features and climate.
The shinboku can be clearly seen from the prefectural road that runs along the Inoko River and from the elevated motorway.
(Yokomakura Shrine) I felt the original scenery from ancient times in the precincts.
Although the precincts are compact, there are torii gates, stone steps with handrails, a hall of worship, a main hall, and so on.

The return trip entered from the direction of Inoko Village. After all, I am impressed by the dignified appearance of the Shinboku in the precincts.
