Friendly staff and a great place for children. They do have a few station for virtual tram riding. Some good historical trams within the building.

Nevertheless it is not close to a train station and you need to take a bus to get there on the top of the hill. A nice, decent museum that your kids will enjoy!

Y	Yen Yang Law on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Accidentally found this museum when I am looking around Negishi Park. I took a bus to there, so I entitle 100yen discount from 300 yen to 200yen (300yen still cheap relatively). It is a must visit museum in Yokohama. Can take bus 21 from Sakuragicho Station.
M	Meeza Manandhar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was an wonderful experience to know the history of public transpiration of Yokohama. Even though the exhibition area is small the exhibit indulge us and take us back to the past. We can see miniature Yokohama with automated transportation.
J	James Szypula on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Once a year or so, I decide it’s worth the risk of being crushed by a car, truck or bus, and I get on my bicycle and ride across Yokohama to the tram museum so I can look at all the old photos and the tram maps. I marvel at how extensive the tram network was and how great and convenient it must have been and then I climb into all the gleaming old tram cars so I can admire the old woodwork and shiny floorboards and then I’ll sit down on a comfy upholstered seat for awhile and think how awful everything has become.
