★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 徳川家康の大叔母 矢田姫のお墓があり、家康から36石の朱印地を賜ったという由緒ある浄土宗のお寺です。お釈迦様の命日(3月末の土日)に行われる「矢田のおかげん」は、露店が出て参拝者で賑わいます。
It is a venerable Jodo sect temple with a tomb of Ieyasu Tokugawa and a grave of Princess Yada and a 36-stone red seal from Ieyasu. “Yata no thanks”, which is held on the anniversary of the Buddha's death (Saturday and Sunday at the end of March), has a stall and is crowded with worshipers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 今の住職が来られてから、境内が開けた。本堂を右手に見ると、丁度左側が草木が生い茂っていて、子供の頃は怖くて仕方がなかったです。伐採したら、中からお地蔵様が5体出てきたそうです。
