★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 五世紀後半の円墳で帆立貝式古墳の可能性があるとのこと。説明板のイメージ図のとおりの形状を有しているが、柵で囲まれているので遠目から見ることしか出来ない。
There is a possibility of a scallop-style burial mound in the late 5th century. It has the shape shown in the image of the explanation board, but it can only be seen from a distance because it is surrounded by a fence.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 墳丘を眺めながら、貴重な発掘品が見つかった剣崎長瀞西遺跡と合わせて、被葬者がどんな人だったのかを考えてみたい古墳です。墳丘の残り具合は良いほうだと思います。
While looking at the burial mound, it is an old burial mound that I would like to think about what kind of person the burial person was, together with the Kenzaki Nagata Nishi site where valuable excavations were found. I think the rest of the mound is good.
