場所と駐車場の案内は“市水道事業角山配水場“の入口に記してあります。
袖ヶ浦公園側からも行くことが出来ます。こちらは獣道の分かれ道に案内があるのみです。
自動車で行くのは、まず迷子になるのでやめておいた方がよいでしょう！
徒歩(長浦駅から約4キロ、50分程)、自転車で行くことを進めます。
It's in a very confusing place.
Information on the location and parking lot can be found at the entrance of the "City Water System Kakuyama Water Distribution Station".
You can also go from the Sodegaura Park side. There is only a guide at the fork of the beast road.
You should stop going by car as you will get lost first!
Walk (about 4 km from Nagaura Station, about 50 minutes) and proceed by bicycle.

これから整備を進めていくとのことです。
現状は畑ですが、作物のない冬の時期を中心に貝や土器が表出しているのを見ることができます。
クルマの方は近くの角山(すまやま)浄水場に停めて徒歩で。
また、袖ヶ浦公園にある袖ヶ浦市郷土博物館から散策することもできます。
It is the largest existing shell mound in the southern part of Chiba prefecture.
It is said that maintenance will be carried out from now on.
Currently it is a field, but you can see shellfish and earthenware exposed mainly in the winter when there are no crops.
For cars, stop at the nearby Sumayama Water Purification Plant and walk.
You can also take a walk from the Sodegaura City Folk Museum in Sodegaura Park.

The Yamano shell mound, a national historic site, is a place where people have been active for nearly a thousand years during the Jomon period. It is just a vacant lot when you see it, but there are signs for explanation, so please imagine the Jomon period.

畑!?
整地された畑の土にたくさんの貝殻が鋤き込まれている。貝塚の貝殻？肥料？
指定されてから1年半くらい経つんですが···。
こんなファジーな扱いでいいんかな？
