★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 高城山北麓の丘陵先端にある四隅突出型弥生墳丘墓群。１号墳は突出部を含めた一辺約18ｍ、２号墳、３号墳は一辺約８～９ｍで、丘陵斜面に並列している。出土した土器から、３基は弥生時代後期前葉に相次いで築造されたものと考えられる。山陰地方を中心として分布する四隅突出型弥生墳丘墓の中では、古い段階に位置付けられ、当時の墓制を考える上で重要な資料である。
 A group of four-corner protruding Yayoi burial mounds at the tip of the hill at the northern foot of Mt. Takashiro. Mound No. 1 is about 18m on a side including the protrusion, and Mound No. 2 is about 8-9m on a side, and is parallel to the hill slope. From the excavated pottery, it is probable that three of them were built one after another in the early Yayoi period. Among the four-corner protruding Yayoi burial mounds distributed mainly in the San'in region, it is positioned at an old stage and is an important material when considering the tomb system at that time.
