★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 山名宗全は室町時代の但馬、備後、安芸、伊賀、播磨を領した守護大名。 応仁の乱では西軍の総大将として戦いましたが、乱の途中に７０歳で死去。 この辺りを西陣と呼ぶのは、山名邸がここにあったことによるとのことです。
 Sozen Yamana is a guardian daimyo who ruled Tajima, Bingo, Aki, Iga, and Harima during the Muromachi period. In the Onin War, he fought as the general general of the Western Army, but died at the age of 70 in the middle of the war. The reason why this area is called Nishijin is that Yamana's residence was here.
