 A letter written by Kaii Higashiyama-Take the Nakasendo to Mt. Ontake. -It was good. There were many pictures and prints.

氏のリトグラフとともに木曽を旅した様子が、知人に宛てた手紙と共に展示されています。
信州の山々の風景が自分の絵のルーツと語っており、様々な自然の姿が描かれ方を楽しむことができます。
A small museum attached to the roadside station Shizumo.
A trip to Kiso with his lithograph is displayed along with a letter to an acquaintance.
The scenery of the mountains of Shinshu is said to be the root of his painting, and you can enjoy various ways of drawing nature.

でも茅野市の御射鹿池のような代表作を展示している訳では無いので注意が必要。
魁夷がどんな人物だったかを知れるいい所でした。
For those who are new to Kaii Higashiyama, this is a good introduction.
However, please note that we are not exhibiting masterpieces like Oshaga Pond in Chino City.
It was a good place to know what kind of person Kaii was.

展示室内は撮影禁止です。

置いてあるのは複製、数も多くありませんが、東山魁夷の作品を手軽に楽しめるのでオススメです。

想像もしていなかったので
ビックリです。
全国的にも珍しいじゃ無いかな。
しかも、あの東山魁夷画伯の
世界です☀️
しかも、テーマが「心の旅」
その道の駅が岐阜県中津川市の
国道19号沿いなんです
早速、行って来ました。
こじんまりした建物ですが
展示物は 素晴らしいですね。
なんとも言えない、「道」「青」の
静かな世界に、引き込まれました。
期間により、色々な企画が
ありそうで、また来たいと思います。
