We’ve eaten a lot of ramen while in Japan and for some reason, this one sticks out. From the English-friendly menu, kind service and delicious ramen, Yamagasa no Ryū is the perfect dinner spot for any travellers in Asakusabashi.

I came at about 6:00pm on a Sunday and it wasn't too busy, I was immediately welcomed in and handed an English menu. You order off a machine with pictures, super easy. I got to Shoyu ramen and it was made incredibly quickly and was so tasty I could have had a second bowl! And only 880 yen! Overall a great experience, I would definitely go again if I was in the area longer. They also have hangers to hang your outer jacket as it's nice and warm in the store, although beware sitting by the door in winter as it opens often letting in a gust of cold air!

The staff is very friendly, there is an english menu and they can speak a bit english. The second time I took another ramen, taste was better but still improveable, she took gyoza, some appetitzers and the rice with meat. The taste was okay too. + Prize: reasonable o Taste: okay + staff: friendly, able to speak a bit english
