★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 昨日、母が病院に猫を連れて行き、診てもらった結果、注射を打ってもらったのですが、その時対応にびっくりしました。
注射時に暴れないよう母は手足を抑えていたのですが、近くにいた看護師さんはなにもせず、またそのまま医師が注射をしたのでびっくりしたうちの猫は当然、手足を抑えている母の手に噛みつき、大きな穴が開きました。
その後、母の手は大きく腫れ、熱と痛みに耐えかねて病院に行くことになりました。
この動物病院からは、消毒や絆創膏はしてもらえましたが、びっくりした動物がどういう行動するするかとかが分からなかったのでしょうか。今までお世話になってた動物病院が手厚かっただけなのでしょうか。ほかの病院では危険だから注射の時は任せてくださいと言われていたので。
全ての犬や猫が注射に慣れている訳ではありません。
ましてや、このコロナ禍で高齢の母が怪我をする事がどれだけ危険な事かわかれば、なお慎重に注射をしなくてはならなかったのではないでしょうか。
私の当たり前と思っていたがことが誤っていればすみません。
我が家としては、こんな動物病院は2度と利用しません。

After that, my mother's hands became so swollen that she couldn't stand the heat and pain and went to the hospital.
The veterinary clinic gave me disinfection and adhesive plasters, but I wonder if I couldn't understand how the surprised animals would behave. Is it just that the veterinary clinic that I have been indebted to until now was generous? At other hospitals, it was dangerous, so I was told to leave it to me when injecting.
Not all dogs and cats are accustomed to injections.
Even more so, if I knew how dangerous it would be for my elderly mother to get injured by this corona disaster, I would have had to inject it carefully.
I took it for granted, but I'm sorry if something is wrong.
At my home, I will never use such a veterinary hospital again.
