★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 南北に延びる須江山のほぼ中央あたりで東に張り出した単独丘陵「舘山（塩野田館跡）」に鎮座。参道は舘生活センター脇から小道を入る。
かつて須江山の西側には広大な沼（広渕沼）が広がり、東側の館山から北上川までは谷地だったようです。小規模の丘陵ですが、重要な拠点となっていたのでしょう。
 Enshrined in the single hill "Tateyama (Ruins of Shionodakan)" that overhangs to the east near the center of Mt. Sue, which extends from north to south. The approach is to enter the path from the side of the Tate Seikatsu Center.
There used to be a vast swamp (Hirobuchi swamp) on the west side of Mt. Sue, and it seems that the area from Tateyama on the east side to the Kitakami River was a valley. Although it is a small hill, it must have been an important base.
