朱雀天皇承平年中（931-937、平安）地主邑八郎太夫曩祖屋州津島の神を勧請して牛頭天主社と称す。八郎太夫の耕田に六月田とよぶものがあったがこれぞ古昔の祭田であったと伝えられる。明治の初現社号に改め同5年4月村社に列せられた。同42年三色吉の雷神社を合祀する。大正4年10月供進社に指定された。
History
Emperor Suzaku (93-937, Heian) Landlord Hachiro Tayu, Soya Yasushi, a god from Tsushima, is called the Ushizu Tenshasha. Hachiro Tao's Koda had a so-called Mutsukida, which is said to have been an ancient festival. It was changed to the first company name of Meiji and was listed as a village company in April of the same year. In 1 42, he joined the thunder shrine of Sanshikichi. It was designated as a company in October of Taisho 4th year.

小さいながら側に遊具があって 微笑ましいです。
至近距離には古墳もあります。
春の桜が見事だと ネットに記載されていたので、来春を楽しみにしてます。
It is a cute shrine.

There is an old burial mound at close range.
