★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 陸前高田市指定天然記念物なのだが、ほぼ管理されていないらしく、看板の場所からも良くわからない状態です。「岩手県内では・・・この木のような大木になるのは極めて稀」と説明されているのにもったいない。
 Although it is a natural monument designated by Rikuzentakata City, it seems that it is almost unmanaged and is not well understood from the location of the signboard. “It is very rare to become a large tree like this tree in Iwate Prefecture”.
